the evening July 9, I made my first release seen in the company (I take this opportunity to thank Free Thinker and MaximoRed ).
now become a necessity was the vision of a real sky, I hardly felt the need to put the eye on the eyepiece so great was the difference from the sky I'm used to.
The place was near Rome, Tusculum area (namely here, N41.79655 , E12.73099 ). The overall impression was positive, of course, I was left with the intention of making a real observation output, more of a dress rehearsal, getting comfortable with a mount everything in a different place from home, losing a clash with screw on the grass and having to look in the dark (found then: D), put the eye on the eyepiece of a friend without disconnecting the cables of the mount: D, things like short:)
We mainly observed Jupiter, and this I must say did not look much different from what I observe from home (at least in my tool). With Free Thinker we pointed to some object such as a M92 in Hercules in my eye that looked like a white cloud well defined. Thanks to my MaximoRed 150mm Newton showed us a beautiful Lagoon (M8), this seemed like a glow visible considering the Sagittaria very low.
rating this event: 9! Prime time "serious", good company, a sky in which clearly divided the constellations (yes, from my sky is unthinkable), a hint of the Milky Way and a great desire to repeat the experience:)
